I am alive. Really, I am. Life has been doing its thing, and I have been just kinda...working with it. ...That sounds depressing, doesn't it? I don't REALLY have anything to report, except that my boys are legitimately grown men now, and I'm not really sure when exactly that happened. Ha! I have not made anything in much too long, I'll be honest. I have written a little here and there, but as far as costumes/dresses go, I haven't sewn lately. I'm not DONE sewing, by any means, but I have to confess that I did burn myself out trying to make a career out of it alone. Letting that settle. Been really just...playing games. Staying home, eating, writing...you know, pandemic life. So, I got a new computer. The PLAN is to try and be more active again. I've been feeling the urge to revisit my pencils and just let my hands go, so we'll see what happens!

This is a lil weird, I won't lie.  As I write this, I eagerly await the end of the school year when I will leave my part-time job (as a lunch lady), and go back to working at home for the summer.  After that...well, we'll see where it goes. I find myself adding more to my plate in terms of costumes that NEED to be worn at some point, but I guess that's because I just keep trying to make the plate bigger.  Right now, I'ma just focus on one costume at a time.  First up is my younger child's Caboose costume.  I'll remember you guys as I run the rounds of picture-posting...I've been woefully negligent in the last few years, I know. So I'm horrible at keeping up with this journal...I'll admit that part of it was loosing my journal background when my subscription ran out and not wanting to update without it. :(  Materialistic, I know...not proud of it.
